The first privately owned hotel in Eger is situated in the most quiet, green area of the city centre. Our hotel is an environmentally friendly hotel which provides the most varied services in town.

Accessibility

 By train: direct or with one change (at Füzesabony) 
The railway station is approx. 1.5 km from the hotel. We offer taxi to the hotel.
By car: M3-motorway, take the Kál or Eger exit, then Mainroad 25. The hotel is at the end of a dead-end street. 
By bus: From Budapest Népstadion station, use the Budapest – Gyöngyös – Eger line or the Budapest – Eger direct line. The bus departs frequently from Budapest to Eger. The bus station is approx.: 200 m from the hotel.

Our hotel has 3* and 4* room categories where the rooms offer the highest comfort.

3 star rooms

In our 39 3*rooms we can accommodate 90 people. We have either standard double rooms or king size bedrooms, triple bedrooms or family apartments. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, and are equipped with bathrobes, hairdryer, television, mini bar and IDD telephone with wake-up system, and Internet connection. All our rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned.

4 star rooms

In our 4* rooms we offer 15 rooms with total comfort. Among the rooms you can choose from superior double rooms or luxury suites, as well as presidential suite. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and are equipped with bathrobes, hairdryer, television, room-safe, internet connection, mini bar and IDD telephone with wake-up system. All our rooms are non-smoking and air-conditioned.

Pets are allowed for an extra charge (only in 3*).

We can guarantee safe parking areas four our guests.

Dining facilities

In our restaurant you can taste the masterpieces of the Hungarian and international cuisine. A nice and cozy terrace and barbeque facilities belong to the restaurant during the summer time.

Our more than 200 year-old National Wine Museum and István Wine cellar give you an unforgettable experience. Here you can visit the exhibition of the 22 Hungarian Wine regions. We also organise high standard wine tasting programmes for up to 200 guests with wine gastronomy dinners.

Our lobby bar is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of tee, coffee or cappuccino during the day or night.  For those who want to use the internet we offer non-stop internet facilities.

Conference facilities

Our well equipped conference rooms (8-160 people) are suitable for organising a successful training, meeting or conference.  Our ballroom is the most elegant one in town, where you can organise protocol, business, family events, weddings and balls. We can guarantee different kinds of technical equipment in order to help you organise successful events. We provide 1 plenary conference room (120 persons), 1 ballroom (160 persons), and 3 section rooms (10-15-30 persons).

Wellness Fitness

We offer services for recreation with our wellness and fitness services. Our swimming pool as well as our sauna, jacuzzi, and massage promise to soothe away the stress of a busy day and offer complete relaxation.

For an additional charge we offer massages, manicure pedicure, different kind of face, body and beauty treatments, solarium, and infra sauna.

Our instructors organise group or individual sporting activaties such as: water gymnastics, yoga, aerobics, fat burning trainings etc.

Wine gastronomy

Our more than 200 year-old National Wine Museum and István Wine cellar give you an unforgettable experience. Here you can visit the exhibition of the 22 Hungarian Wine regions. We also organise high standard wine tasting programmes for up to 200 guests with wine gastronomy dinners. (this is exactly the same text as the one above…. You can spice up your program with virtuoso gypsy music or a folklore program.

In the four different parts of the cellar, you can see the presentation of the 22 Hungarian wine regions, the ancient vintage technical means of production, the Wine Sanctuary where we store the best wines of our region. At the relief there is evidence which proves the cellar really is more than 200 years old. Here you will witness a unique winecellar which is part of the more than 140 km long wine cellar system that extends under the entire city of Eger.

Eger and its surroundings

Eger and its surrounding are rich in sights. The region offers plenty of opportunities for culture and entertainment. Among the main attractions, you find the Cathedral which is the second biggest cathedral of Hungary, the castle of Eger, the harmonious building of the Lyceum - presently a college boasting its own observatory tower where visitors can see the only operating camera-obscure in Europe. Next to the age-old codices, the Archdiocesan Library also guards the first printed book in Hungary, the Buda Chronicle form 1473. 

Tourists can take romantic walks in the nooks and crannies of the Baroque town centre. The main square of the town, Dobo Square, is dominated by the Minorite church, one of the most beautiful Baroque churches in Hungary.

Eger is also the centre of a fifty thousand hectare winegrowing region, the producer of one of Hungary’s best-known wines - Bull’s Blood of Eger.  Almost everything is about wine in the town where the cultivation of grapes dates back to the 11^th century.
